I’m not very sure if YouTube will be what it use to be. Sure some of the YouTubers I like are still there and some other content I like is still there, but it’s upsetting to see the current state of it. The amount of slop, AI shit, porn ads and/or porn thumbnails has gotten insane. There’s little to no freedom of speech on there, and when I hear someone unironically say “grape” (raped), “unalive” (suicide/killed) or “pew pew” (gun), takes me out of the video. Not only that, makes me want to unsubscribe and dislike the video, or just never watch the channel again. You’re essentially bowing down to the big corporate because the corporate supposedly cares more about the advertisers. The thing is, what fucking advertisers are they allowing? They’re just letting people post anything as an ad, some are just 3 hour ads of AI Snoop Dogg reading the Bible or a cropped video of a woman fingering herself. It’s frustrating and it’s given me more and more of a reason why I left YouTube for Rumble.
